Where: Chattahoochee Elementary
Description: Buses will pick up students and parents at their assigned bus stops and deliver them to Chattahoochee. The transportation team will provide an informational presentation and then parents will be able to visit their child’s classroom for Open House. This Open House is for Kindergarten students and parents only. If your child will not be riding the bus and you would just like to attend Kindergarten Open House, that will begin at 9:00 AM. A separate Open House for all other grades will be held later in the day. Your student’s teacher will contact you prior to Open House (usually the day before) so you will know which classroom to visit. Your bus driver will contact you prior to the roundup date (usually the day before) with information regarding bus pickup time and stop location. Kindergarten Round-up will also be available for students with special needs. If your child attends a school outside your home school district for program need or is unable to ride a regular education bus due to a physical disability, please contact North end transportation supervisor Wendy Funderburg at 770-888-1234 ext.220118. You must contact transportation 3 days prior to July 28, 2026 in order to arrange a pick-up time. Parents must ride the bus with your child but please make other arrangements for siblings due to limited space on the bus.
