Jill Short - Principal
Mrs. Short is beginning her 19th year serving Forsyth County Schools and her 25th year in education. She graduated from Ohio University with both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Community Health Education. She received a Masters of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from North Georgia College and State University. She has taught Kindergarten through 5th grade and served as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal in both Elementary and Middle School. Mrs. Short and her husband Jim enjoy spending time with their family including sons Britton (Kendra), Tanner (Ashley), and Dellan and their three grandsons Whitner(6), Sawyer(4), and Callum(4mos). Mrs. Short is excited to begin her second year as Principal of Chattahoochee Elementary where Every Day is a Great Day to be a Champion!
Robin Neal - Assistant Principal
Mrs. Neal is looking forward to another great school year at Chattahoochee! She has been in education for 28 years, including 21 years in Forsyth County. She has served as a classroom teacher, school counselor, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Mrs. Neal and her husband have 3 sons, and they love spending time together on their little farm. They have 5 dogs, 4 goats, and a new kitten that was rescued in the Chattahoochee car line. Mrs. Neal loves partnering with Chattahoochee families, and she is proud to be a Champion!
Michelle Gardner - Assistant Administrator
Mrs. Gardner is beginning her 23rd year serving Forsyth County Schools. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in Risk Management and later pursued her Masters in Early Childhood Education from The University of North Georgia. She went on to pursue her Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as Educational Leadership from Piedmont. She has taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 4th grade as well as EIP, ESOL and served as a MTSS Coordinator. Mrs. Gardner and her husband Dewey enjoy spending time with their family including her daughter Kamryn and son Ben, both proud graduates of Forsyth County Schools. Mrs. Gardner is very excited to begin her second year as Assistant Administrator of Chattahoochee Elementary where we are all Respectful, Responsible, Problem Solvers!
